Agreed, West Coast’s name is unique in the AFL. Similar like in the USA where teams have the state name instead of the city. UtahJazz, Minnesota Timberwolves, Arizona Cardinals, Florida Panthers.....

As I see the issue is, that it’s more likely that NSW3 brings in more new fans than WA3. Thus the game can grow further
