Heard a rumour of a conversation between 2 old blokes in a London pub the other night. One says, "What time is Bournemouth kicking off today?"
The other says, "About every 10 minutes."
If West Ham knocks off Newcastle, and West Brom does the same to Leicester, the Hammers reach the dizzy heights of 3rd. It's almost the equivalent of North Melbourne climbing to 17th :-).
Surely Leicester will be renamed Ranieri-ville - at least in the short term :-). This is the greatest sporting story I can remember ever: this is a team that once finished second............way back in 1929!!!!! It's just surreal, and it's breathed new life into a competition that seemed...
I'm not a regular soccer fan, but I've been absolutely captivated by Leicester's rise to the top. 15 short months ago, they were on the precipice of relegation: now they're about to be crowned champions of England: astonishing.
Just throwing it out there - has there been a bigger rags to riches...
