I think anyone familiar with my posting would agree that unflinching confidence in the strength of my own arguments is pretty par for the course.
MLM is evil preying on the feebleminded at the best of times.
I can't even imagine how stupid someone would need to be to actually hand over their...
Ok done a bit of investigation now.
Everything I said is absolutely correct.
Hip hop minus the music, an exaggerated character using shock value to appeal to the youf.
Its just 'Bitches ain't s**t but ho's n tricks' only more eloquently expressed and well marketed to generation pissweak.
I've probably not seen enough of him to be fair.
I've just had people share clips of him bagging cooking, talking about mineral water and arguing with other no talent podcasters.
Please give me an example of his worst
He's embellishing everything for entertainment value though.
I reiterate he's essentially a talentless rapper.
I could name 20 off the top of my head that are exactly the same as Tate.
Granted they are not exactly pleasant fellows but when they talk about going to a party and shooting 50 campaigners...
Even in my limited exposure to Tate I know he is openly admitting to, if not glorifing in being most of the above.
Anyone with the slightest bit of nous can see hes playing a character.
A reality TV contestant who can spin a mildly entertaining pile of bullshit after a few red bulls and a bump...
Confidence and consent can go hand in hand.
I know a bloke that broke up with his missus on the phone at the footy then immediately turned to a random chick sitting beside him and says "Excuse me, I just broke up with my fiance, can I bury my face in your lap?"
This bloke isnt attractive by any...
"Interesting" is unlikely to include alt right propaganda now is it?
If he has someone discussing lost civilisations or the Mafias role in WW2 for instance I'm not overly concerned about their politics.
You mentioned the 'Ricky Gervais argument' in another post as supposed targeting of the...
I have to admit I haven't heard anything much from Brand post Ponderland era.
Rogan I'll happily chuck on in the car if his guest seems interesting.
I'm not in the slightest bit interested in their politics.
They are both comedians and as far as I'm concerned their only job is to make me laugh...
Russell Brand was *in hilarious when he stuck to doing smack and rooting anything with a pulse.
Joe Rogan is great for fight talk and quirky stoner chat.
Why does everyone care so much about everyone else's every political viewpoint?
I agree that the RW bigots are using trans people in sport as a dog whistle but that means nothing.
The issue is complex.
You yourself are taking a position that many feminists revile, does that make you a raving right wing misogynist?
As a side note misogyny is a perfect solution to trans...
In fairness there is more than one issue at play in this thread, with Trans rights being only one facet thereof.
A lot of debate here has nothing to do with 'rights' whatsoever in fact.
It mostly wavers vaguely around 'Trans acceptance' but often veers off into completely irrelevant tangents...
wat?
Are yu talking about this post where I talk about how one would 'define' a 'woman'.
It was directly relating to a prominent news story of the last couple of weeks.
Ive said as much in multiple posts
Or do yu mean mai original post in the thread where I talk about the complex challenges...
Its a good idea to always be upfront with your doctor about everything in case.
As to when it matters that it is spelled out?
Being trans or otherwise doesnt matter in the workplace or pub but it certainly does in a clinical trial.
No doubt.
You would also expect doctors to be able to discuss relevant issues affecting any and every possible gender with the general public without there being any considerations beyond the health and wellbeing of all.
He held the position of CMO and was unable to answer the question (which again, I agree was an ******* ridiculous question).
I 100% mean it.
Being a high ranking doctor and still not able to define a 'woman' is crazy.
You agree that in these almost unique circumstances using 'transgender' as...
Its ridiculous questioning I agree.
You yourself just used the term trans though?
Why didnt you write 'Anti women'?
( Im aware this is facetious but Im demonstrating that at times you need to specify trans )
Using Weetbix was simply to find the least offensive thing possible as an example.
I have said many times Im happy to use whatever form of address people desire, I simply find some of the fanciful creations they come up with a touch silly, however that relates to pronouns and is nothing to do...
All these distinctions can be important too depending upon context.
"A womans life expectancy is 85... unless they are indigineous".
"Every woman should put this recipe for cheesy beef lasange on high rotation... unless they are Jewish"
"In the modern day easy access to period products has...
I was referencing the current fad of asking people to define what a woman is.
Its easy if you view language in the way it was intended- to communicate ideas, rather than an excuse to take offense where none is meant over semantic minutiae.
Whats wrong with: A woman is blah blah blah, unless...
A fine suggestion! What woman doesn't love being called 'Plain'?
Cool, lets call them 'Women' then and on the very rare occasions that this all encompassing term does not suffice then we can refer to Transgender women as 'Trans women'
Lets take any possible emotion out of the discussion and simply look at terminolgy.
Weetbix used to make one product only.
Now they also make 'Multigrain Weetbix' and 'Organic Weetbix' varities.
They are all Weetbix and all make a tasty and heathly breakfast.
But nobody is calling the original...
Why the obsession with semantics?
Let the term 'woman' describe and define cis women and 'trans woman' describe and define transgender women.
Its has no pejorative insinuations whatsoever ffs
