Thats what I'm leaning to. If windows mobile 7 had been out for a while and xbox live mobile was cranking (I'm a pretty big xbox 360 user) I think it might have been closer though.
The Desire is out on Vodaphone (my prefered choice at the moment) on Nov 12. Same day as the new stock of Galaxy S's are in as well according to about 4 shops.
I guess for me its whether Windows Mobile 7 will be good enough so its more about the OS than the phone.
Has anyone got this yet or know anything about it.

OK, I've searched the websites and checked out some message boards but I still don't a have a clear answer on which to get for my new pc. I couldbn't find another bigfooty thread either so sorry if there is one.
Am I right in saying that 64bit lets you use more than 4Gb of RAM but there may be...
I'm looking for a gaming machine, something to do some pretty basic video editing on and something that will last me a fair while.
My last pc has lasted 4+ years.
What about warranties etc... if something goes wrong? I know each component would have its own warranty so I assume that this...
The issue is more being able to shop around for the components you want at a good price.
JasRulz63, cheers for the info :thumbsu:
Keenn to hear if anyone else has any suggestions.
I'll be getting a new pc in the next few months and I'm trying to work out if it is worth the hassle of me buying the components as cheap as I can and getting a kick ass rig or whether I should get a pc shop to do it. I'm looking to spend around $1800.
Has anyone built their own pc? What...
Cheers for the info. Much appreciated.
I had a back up external drive and it lasted 6 months before it broke. Lost some stuff that wasn't on my pc but not much. I've been a bit freaked out since then though.
So to run RAID 1 you'd need two drives? If I had two 500 Gb drives then my total...
I'm starting to sort out the specs for a new pc and I'm a bit confused but RAID and the different levels.
My understanding is that RAID-0 is fast but if you lose the data, your toast.
What do other people have and what would be the best set up for a pc which is going to be mainly used for...
I loved my dreamcast when I had it but the ps3 is looking like a slightly more successful version of it. How long is it taking for some decent games to get released on the ps3?
You can have all the superior technology in the world but a games console needs... games.
Unless you have the...
I've just bought NBA 2K7 for $40 (17 pounds UK) (+free postage) from www.cdwow.com. Its a UK website. Can get PC games there cheaper than in Aust too. The games not even available here yet.
Should get it by Friday.
(and no I don't work for the site)
I've played the demo as well. The level where you have to hold the bridges is awesome and its just the demo.
Great atmospere in the game (it looks like too). I'll be getting it.
I get ridiculously slow download speeds and a 800mb file takes a bloody week.
Utorrent help spoke about port forwarding.
Anyone know what that is all about?
I've got NBA live 05 for pc and so far I'm enjoying it. I dislike immensensely that you can't 'draft' any of the legends into any leagues as I don't mind pitting for eg the 'all time' Lakers v the 'all time' Celts... but hey.
I like how they've improved the hop-step so its not just a cheap...
