Views came out today, wasn't expecting much and got what I expected. Worse version of Take Care. Less memorable quotes and vocally Drake is pretty average. 9 is probably my favourite... A collection of his misc stuff over the past few years would be better than this.
Yeah I don't get The Beatles. They are boring as bat s**t and have mediocre voices. I can appreciate old music like Elvis and Orbison but not the Beatles. I have no idea how they made a million let a billion.
Drake has his own style, his lyrics are really cool which the young generation can relate to it. 2009 he and Wayne were took over the rap/rnb/hiphop genre (mostly in North America) and Drake suddenly went mainstream after he released Take Care at the end of 2011. Since then, everything he has...
Ehhh I am RnB through and through but the Weeknd doesn't do it for me. Only songs I really like are Thursday (song not album) and Earned it. Ill listen to his new album to see if change my mind on him. He owes a lot to drake and the producer he bent over.
managed to get 16/17 songs (2 were already released), just missing "you and the 6". so far not bad, nothing special. will give it a proper listen tonight.
1. drake knows he was brought up upper class, he doesn't act like anything else.
2. fake... i dont think so. perhaps because s**t like hold on we're going home is popular when it was the worst song on his album.
3. when you makin serious dolla bills, why not carry yourself the way you want to...
These would be my top 10 that have played commercially (bar maybe 2 of them, they are more popular overseas). Most of my actual favourites would be non singles on albums, but from the same artists. None of this urban stuff has any place in a triple J thread but I'd like to post my top songs...
Drake announces tour BUT NOT ADELAIDE SO I HAVE TO PAY $150 TO GO TO FUTURES FOR 1 ACT :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
