Our park football was good enough to beat the best Victorian teams in the "Championship of Australia" games. We regularly played exhibition games against VFL teams.

Port Adelaide club won the license from the AFL and had to create the SANFL Magpies as a seperate entity until 2010 when that nonesense was overrulled. So The Port Adelaide club ran a seperate 2nds team for 4 years

Nothing about this scenario is normal enough to create red flags. We may have to wait 5 years before we can look back with any sort of clarity.
It's a real shame how Sloane has slowed down in the last few years. He's skilled, courageous and as hard as coffin nails.
I remember when AFC had peak Sloane & Dangerfield both destroying teams out of the centre.
Boak has, fortunately for him, stayed in his peak much longer. That will be his legacy
