Hey Juddybuddy, you like your chances against us tomorrow? Not sure if it's been covered in this thread already, but I reckon at 2.55 even with hogan and Garlett back blues are value

And I used incantation when I don't even know what I meant to say... Incarnation probably.

    AFL R7

You used the incorrect incantation of weather 'whether' in both posts. :p Edit: in fact, in all three posts

    Brownlow Medal 2011 (Part 2)

Westhoff wasn't a clear BOG in the round 24 game against Melbourne, u wouldn't back him based on an assumption of three votes there.

    Brownlow Medal 2011 (Part 2)

Anyone give Lower a chance at polling 1 last night?
  10. stretcharmstrong

    Brownlow Medal 2011 (Part 2)

Nope, not on most team votes - TAB and Luxbet the only ones iirc.

I will also be posting my tally at the end of the season. And will do at rnd 12 also. I'm happy to post in here throughout the season, but generally don't have enough time to check in regularly (unless it is to selfishly poach other peoples info for the 3 or so games a week I don't watch).

    Brownlow Medal 2011 (Part 1)

Personally I think Judd has started pretty flat compared to last year, although I still have him on 7. Additionally, as other posters have highlighted, Murphy and Gibbs have played consistently well and stood out compared to last year (more so Murphy). As for adjusting votes, have to agree...

    AFL Futures

Kahuna, where did you put that multis on? I really like both of those, and agree that Essendon @15s for the spoon is value.

    AFL Futures

True. But then again....he's talking about "C. Judd".

AFL 2011 Club Win Totals Over/Under Comp

You seem to be under the false impression that people are actually backing these bets. It says it in the OP, it's just a comp. Relax.

    Brownlow Medal 2011 (Part 1)

D-WD, to give you some sort of a response with regard to "lay betting", it's really quite simple. You either: -back at long odds and then lay off when they come in, or -lay at short odds (if you think they'll drift) and back them when they drift. It's all about picking the market, the way it is...

AFL 2011 Club Win Totals Over/Under Comp

    Brownlow Medal 2011 (Part 1)

That's actually a pretty good, concise summary of how I'm feeling at the moment. I also reckon K Jack could be a reasonable value bet this year, should be your main man in the centre this year!
  23. stretcharmstrong

    Brownlow Medal 2011 (Part 1)

Absolutely agree. I reckon we won't get most-team-vote multis from TAB this year, but they (or some other agency or book) should allow the BL/Prem doubles, and the value for them is right about rounds 15-18 imo.

    Bad Night At The Office

It's true, the OP makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

2010 Ashes Series Australia Vs England

I may be wrong, but I believe that KardiniaPark was playing up the idea that we have no hope of winning a test match in this series as we cannot/will not take 20 wickets (in a match), and that some people might be forgiven for thinking that references to "taking 20 wickets" are over the course...

    The NFL 2010/11 Thread

Yeah I went resonably big (for me) on that too, utterly ridiculous result considering the line, the number of people on it, and the time remaining when the last score occurred.
