Hard one to judge for me.
There was way too much relationship stuff, which wasn't actually done in an engaging way - Napoleon was apparently nothing like depicted in the film, and it didn't give anywhere near enough credit to his achievements, both adminstrative, governmental, societal and...
Even a couple of years pause would've been sufficient.
I haven't watched anything since Infinity War/Endgame - which I loved - I just can't get interested in basically finishing and then starting all over again, immediately.
I think the world is also becoming too convoluted, as well.
Interesting - I didn't find him uncharitable towards Ferguson, quite the opposite. He clearly respects him, loves him like a father - he just didn't agree with Ferguson that his non-football activities were impacting his football performances.
Fergie selling him, and not having the balls to...
I went with a group of movie buff mates, and we all go to the new/big movies together (Ie, Oppy before, Napoleon next), and were all excited for this.
We were all pretty underwhelmed. Beautifully shot movie, well acted, interested storyline - but it never really got above that; it wasn't super...
Barbie, surprisingly excellent.
Thoughtful without being too preachy (I expected an extremely feminist theme to the point of annoyance) - and bloody funny.
Jesus, it just keeps getting worse and worse.
They've ruined Mando now (although that was obvious during the disaster that was BoBF), and now they're doubling down on their own shithouse storylines, instead of bringing more OT related content.
The crap coming out of Star Wars Celebration is...
Somebody said it - the King seemed in better health yesterday, attended the Throne, had his dinner, etc, so she probably didn't think he'd kick the bucket within 24 hours.
I do like how Alicent is telling the truth - but didn't truly understand what the King was saying.
I also think she was genuine in that she wouldn't fight against Rhaenarya taking the Crown, as she said in the last episode... until she thought King V told her that Aegon must be on the throne...
Really well done in the way they presented the 'nature versus nurture' argument here.
His Mum hated him, was on a shitload of medications when he was in the womb, and showed him zero affection at all in his life.
His Dad cared for him, supported him, loved him (in his own way, which I suspect...
Had such high expectations for this, but pulled the pin after the second episode of S2.
Too contrived, unlikable characters making constant idiotic decisions, ridiculous s**t constantly happening with minimal consequences.
Crap show.
I think the opposite - but not with any intensity.
Surface level, Alicent seems like a bitch, but stop and think and it's clear the Princess is a gigantic campaigner.
