Yeah, there's something about Bea's character they can't replace.
I was hoping they'd do more with Allie's character as well. She lost the plot when Bea thought she helped the Freak drown her, now Bea's dead and she seems happy as Larry!
Strange choices, but I guess we're only 3 episodes in.
Oooooh, I'm excited! Just re-watching the first 4 seasons now. Looks like s5 will focus more on Allie. I wonder if her character will be able to hold up the show.
Very strange decision indeed. Honestly can't say I'm that keen to keep watching now (no doubt that'll change when the new season roles around though). Would be feeling much more content if Allie had of gone as well :'(
I got that feeling too. Apparently they filmed multiple endings, so I'm thinking one where they both died for the series final and one where there's only one ambiguous death for the season final. Wouldn't have cost a whole lot in production to finish the episode slightly differently, they would...
Seriously struggling to understand how they continue a show that has been focused almost solely on Bea for 4 seasons without her? Very strange decision.
Also, my heart! :brokenheart:
Saw it today. Went in with pretty low expectations, so I think that helped. Not a great movie, just a bit of dumb fun really. I have developed an unhealthy girl crush on Kate McKinnon though o_O
The only hint I took out of the preview that Allie could still possibly be alive is Bea saying "She wouldn't do that do herself" as opposed to something like "She wouldn't have done that to herself".
My theory is she'll end up in a coma and come out of it at the end of the episode. Similar to...
Finished Weeds and Wet Hot American Summer a couple of weeks ago. I'm halfway through season 1 of Wentworth and watching the entire collection of Seinfeld in between. What was I doing before Netflix!?
Last movie I watched was Wet Hot American Summer. Nothing special, but I did have a bit of a chuckle. One of those movies you can watch while you're doing something else. Looking forward to watching the series to compare.
Off to see Trainwreck tonight, hopefully it's half as decent as the...
Exactly. Yael's acting is far, far superior to that of Ruby's yet the Aussie media haven't got a clue who she is. Not that there's anything wrong with Ruby or her acting, but the part was pretty bland and not worth of all the plaudits she received.
I watched season 3 as soon as it came out, so my memory is probably a little hazy (I only just found this section of the board ). Did anyone else feel Ruby Rose's character was totally redundant? She added little to the story line, and you could already sense the wedge being driven...
