FA was introduced to mitigate any threat of a challenge to the draft on grounds that it was a restriction of trade, introducing players being traded without consent is hardly in sync with this agenda. For FA to have a greater impact across the comp the threshold needs to be reduced from 8to 6...
That defies the very notion what FREE AGENCY is which creates a free path to club of choice , what do you think the player association says if they amend to limited club of choice ,, if it sounds crazy it generally is
It’s no coincidence whatsoever that since the draft has bene uncompromised , free of draft concessions to expansion clubs and cola allowances have bene dropped that we’ve seen two new premiership sides emerge in last 2y. That tells me the draft most definitely works , it’s other aspects that...
that wouldnt happen, for two reasons..
1 Hawthorn wouldnt have 500k space in the cap
2 No way could they justify a <10 gamer be amongst the top few earners at the club
Putting a massive price on head would only suit a bottom club that has plenty of coin in the cap and need to fill it
Im pretty surprised that he wasn't at least rookied with his performances at U18 level it would suggest to me that he has fair amount of ability...shame if he has given it away, like others have said...only serves to underline he's not to fussed bout a league career then..Good luck to him...
sorry to say sailor that he's off the market for you and your buddy:p had long time gf for a while, remember her being respendant in yellow at brownlow...bad luck sunshine, plenty more fish in the sea:thumbsu:

ideally suited to a wing, finds the footy (AVG 19/game) , hard at it, runs well ...downsides are not great defensively and tends to be pretty one dimensional when he has the footy, doesnt exactly duck and weave like he's ablettesque, stays on the tracks ...i wish him the best, has enough good...
none of them will be picked up, long time since anyone got excited about anything these 3 bums has been able to do onfield...Balwyn or Noble Park beckons
errr, ground control to major tom, ummm charman is 28 not 21 and has struggled to play more than a dozen games a year on avg over last few seasons, as if he's worth a pick immediately outside of the first R...R3 pick at best
clubs would offer a R2 pick coz he was reputed junior however he hasnt delivered, and looks to be a bit slow which stops KPP from ever being elite...I prefer Jack over him
3-4 yrs past his use by date...lucky to be picked up at all...with the likes of Nathan brown looking for a home, can't see any interest in this one game wonder
wow what a conclusion from this genius:eek:, how does he know they didnt see them play when in Melbourne...as if he knows who on earth they are any way....unbelievable:p
