Thats where i think balls making the biggest statement, obviously has no interest in melbourne and playin for them otherwise he would go to the psd and let them get him for nothing.
If pies had the first pick in the psd id imagine he wouldnt even bother nominatiing for the national draft...
im not the biggest fraser fan, however
u realise he was nowhere near the ball , the essendon player went the man not the ball.
hes dogged it more than anyone out of the two.
still defies logic, i cant work out how that is beneficial to the pies, its like we are upgrading your first pick for taking a dud off our hands lol
bit harsh we got the raw end of the deal when we gave away the player, usually works the other way.
some appaling collingwood trade to the hawks a few years back , i think its the one that actually landed us egan to add insult to injury.
Pick 10 was traded to Collingwood for Bo Nixon and Pick 7
so the pies traded a dud player and swap picks to go down 3 picks in the draft , work that out
Re: Pies in the Mix
carlton arent in the box seat with fevola, theyve pretty much sacked him and said more or less they dont want him at carlton.
Its nothing like the judd deal, carlton wont be getting 2 or 3 picks and a young player, anyone who thinks that is the case is insane.
Fev has...
hence the use of
its a wind up
highly unlikely a trade like that will happen
and
they arent fremantle
i was saying it in the sense that we need another ball winner and back up ruck as fraser is past it.
id maybe part with pick 14 for kerr, i wouldnt go leon plus pick 14 thinking...
sounds like a wind up , i love leon but id do that trade in an instant. Or even
Seaby + Kerr for Leon and pick 14
Highly unlikely a trade like that would be made, can only hope. Althought they arent fremantle
burgoyne and chaplin for roughead is about a break even, the pick on top of that would tempt the hawks even more.
How does buddy play without roughie though ?
Re: Trade made - Rhys Shaw and pick 61 to Sydney for pick 46
ppl said the swans were fools for drafting mattner last year cos he couldnt kick. he seemed to have a good year.
shaw will fit in well with the swannies, he can get his own ball. but he provides a lot of dash and breaks the lines...
didak aint goin anywhere
shaw aint goin anywhere
especially if it was to get kerr to the pies
so why exactly would collingwood be so keen to trade off two of probably their best five players, just because of an indiscretion blown out of preportion by the media.
if clubs operated like...
will be a cult figure at whatever club he goes to , imagine the memberships he will bring in.
one bad or average game means nothing, i saw a bit of it and it showed he has the potential to be a top player in the afl. youd be crazy not to take him at 1
sounds promising. couple of years ago i was worried about our backline stocks after clement wakes and presti would retire, seems we now have an abundance of young backmen.
