Losing our 2 big men has buggered our structure. We also kicked poorly at goal.
Otherwise a lot of effort & thats always a good trait to have no matter what the situation.
I said this too. Normally I'd think 4 weeks is more indicative of a cracked rib, or some internal. perhaps actual lung damage from the contact. We won't be shown scans nor the medical report so its all supposition.
Yes Hobart has roads, & electricity too. Just not a footy team.
I was just in awe of our fighting spirit, all season. By their nature, finals are hard. Any weakness shows. To fight it out after a wobbly first half, like the season overall, was just amazing.
As Fly said, we all start 18th next...
Good morning all.
Wow what a year. What a ride. So proud of what the coaches & playing group put into the whole year.
Never fun to lose but even when looking shot, they just kept going. Kept pushing. Kept daring. Unbelievable belief, even when looking gone. Amazing resilience all year.
Had a...
I'm not one to gloat, but GEEEZ!! how good was that!!
Dwit Taylor carried on about the Carlton Premiership 3rd Qtr!
He forgot the mention the Carlton 9th spot last Qtr!!!
Had Beers, We're just into a 1 litre bottle of Cointreau now. ( I'll keep some for finals, ----no, bugger it, I'll just...
Yeah, bad days or weeks happen, but you can bathe in that comforting feeling that comes from the last 11 games.
Thinking of the Bumbers, & bloos supporters absolutely frustrated & seething at what we've achieved this year over last.
Both of them have been rebuilding since last century. We've...
Brilliant!!
I'm still in shock. :)
I know so many bomber supporters & a number would have been waiting to have a shot at me over the 'loss'!
All of a sudden, SILENCE! Hahahahahaha!!
Yes the GC had a dip & scraped hard. The conditions were crap, which heled their style tonight.
We hit the post 3 times!! But showed composure when it counted.
Certainly a gutsy win.
Looking at that, It was purely a disgraceful decision. FFS what was the umpire thinking? Moore, in front, slid for the ball, the Hawthorn player fell over the top of him!!!
We haven't had a key forward for over a decade. Thats one thing.
But FFS when are we going to get forwards who can kick straight?
2 games in a row we get done by sides who just took their chances, yet we waste chance after chance after freeking chance.
Thats just pathetic for professional...
All topped off by the lack of stupid, childish abuse from other clubs nufties/fwits on FB.
Is been a pleasant quiet relaxed sunny Sunday in Hobart. None of the crap such FB fools ( the 1/2 dozen Essendon, Hawthorn, Carlton numb nuts on my FB feed) would have been drooling over & ready to dump...
They watch too much TV & read destructive social media crap.
He's no angel. So what?
If he actually does something bad, ring me, & I might change my view. ;)
Last night was the first game in a 'new' style of footy.
It showed an excellent buy in by the players.
We still have some structural weaknesses. The ones we've had for years. A strong forward.
Yet the game plan negated that weakness to some extent.
Overall, a great start!!!!
