Japan did a brilliant job getting this up and running and keeping everyone safe and putting on such great games. Well done, good on them. Amazing.
Suspect pretty lucky it wasn’t Rio’s turn.;)
Oh and one more thing- I suspect the time zone couldn‘t have been much better for us here. So that was a terrific thing. Paris will be tougher I presume but I am up for it!
Woohoo. I actually enjoyed everything I watched. Gave lots of things a go. Loved the standards in swimming and track and field. Loved the marathons. Also enjoyed lesser lights- the traditional volleyball, badminton, equestrian-had a look at Greco Roman wrestling, fencing, triple jump and so on...
Well, have to agree. I can see they can skate, and was really looking forward to watching it. But am finding it quite boring- their ‘tricks’ don’t measure up against plenty of other sports for me. And so many are falling.
And they jumped very high as it was - can’t even begin to comprehend how anyone could get so high. Scary stuff. Good luck to them. ( and yes, nowhere near the records, but a good outcome nonetheless).
Very good relay - well done lads.
Be good if Leisel could stop saying winning a bronze is no joke, nothing to sneeze at, blah blah. I know that thank you. It’s a fantastic achievement. Punching well above our weight here.
