Maybe Naughton and Allen is a tight race, but Allen is definitely a) a better current player than Lobb and b) will only increase his superiority over Lobb over the next 2-3 years
Yes so don't look at the stats when comparing them as it won't be even no matter how you slice it.
The eye test is the way to judge the comparison between these 2.
Posters opinion was that Allen is a better kick and mark than Naughton. You brought stats into it.
Stats don't mean s**t comparing these 2 guys because Dogs get way more inside 50's than WC, secondly Allen was playing KPD for a few weeks to cover for injuries and thirdly Allen has both Kennedy...
It's called having an opinion Allen is a better mark and kick than Naughton. He is definitely a better kick and mark is debatable because both are good marks.
Always when you Bulldog fans disagree - "you have no idea"
Ok so Bulldogs are destroying GC by 10 goals and Naughton struggling to get a kick. Wonder if GC are playing 4 defenders on him......
Just like it's easy to kick 5 goals a game when you get the ball kicked to you a million times a game like Naughton, instead he will deliver you 2.4 from 12 kicks to him
It's tough because Naughton gets the number 1 defender whereas Allen usually the 3rd choice defender. Having said that Naughton gets more chances as he doesn't have to compete with a Darling and Kennedy at Bulldogs.
It's a very clear 1st being Martin and 2nd being Shuey now.
3rd/4th is a bit of a toss up but I would say Ziebell's high performance games are a lot higher than Hartlett's so I wold rank Ziebell 3 and Hartlett 4
Lets say a peak Daniher is worth 2 top 10 picks
1. Injury troubles reduce 1 of the top 10 picks to a late first round pick
2. Him saying he wants out reduces that pick to a 2nd round pick
Therefore 1 top 10 pick+1 2nd round pick
I voted Collingwood, but the teams I support against the most are basically them and Richmond. Only because they have a lot of fans and they talk a lot of s**t
