Yep that's true.
The amount of time his says" it's tough for tennis players" farrrrk really? Every time he gets on he says it.
My only problem with him is the embellishment of drug user Serena Williams.
SEN exists for AFL footy. The rest is just fill, and pretty boring fill at that. Apart from Brian Martins This Racing Life on Sat mornings there is little of interest through the summer for me. When the station has to resort to live calls of NBL or A League games or even worse, Tennis matches, you know they have reached desperation stage in on air content. Poor old Brett Phillips must have shagged someone important at SENs wife. He has been condemned to the role of " Tennis expert" for the station which would surely mean he has to actually watch a lot of it. Nightmarish. There are plenty of good podcasts around, thank Christ for that.

Exactly, as soon as footy season finishes I don't turn SEN on again until the next season starts. But you can't really blame them for the summer sports coverage. They are a 24/7 sports talk station after all. Have to fill it with content somehow
Just heard him doing the overnight show on sport 927.

Well said. People just need to understand it is a dedicated sports station. There are many sports being played around the world all the time.

Really like what Darren Berry has brought over summer. Would like to see him get a regular gig, he's a natural.

got it! although sports is an opinion industry, cricket you can be more precise. Berry has strong opinions, whether it be team selection, suspensions etc. But in footy its so fluid that there isnt an absolute as such. Like the shape of the ball it lends itself to unpredictability.

So basically they've been doing it half-arsed for the past 10 years.
Not back in the game with Leach in the afternoons. Give me Hillier or Chuck any day of the week. Leach will yak on about soccer all afternoon.

Well I tuned in and there were a couple of pre-recorded interviews which were of appalling quality. Could barely understand what was being said.
Harf is Harf, full of enthusiasm, boisterous, but he seems out of place with the rest of the fossils on 927 with little support. Desperately needs his wing woman in Rita Panahi.
Not that anyone will give a s**t, but my thoughts on their Mon-Fri (I actually really enjoy their Friday night and Saturday AFL coverage, Sundays are crap though)
Lyon - Like him
Frawley - Is he even on Mon-Fri? I don't mind him anyway
Watson - Cannot stand him, Essendon bias aside he talks so much s**t
Hamish - Worst of the lot
McClure - Self important flog
KB - Master troll
Leach - He is OK I guess, not the best but far from the worst

I agree with most of that. I don't mind Watson though and KB gives me the shits. It's even worse with regularly having Denham, Smith and Waldron on his show.
Marko and the Ox on the run home is the greatest pairing imo. Regularly have me in stitches

Yeah individually Ox and Marko amount to little. Together they are Australia's very own Dumb and Dumber.
KB is a very funny guy IMO. Trolling his guests can be funny - surely the only reason Denham has a gig.
Never been a big fan of Lyon - has a massive negative undertone to him. But he works well with Watson IMO. Always enjoyed Tim's dryness - with EFC he is hopelessly compromised and I think he recognised that and eventually stepped away from SEN during the drugs thing.
Frawley just seems to be a limited guy - not sure what he offers. Can't tolerate Hame and McLure. Smugness may be a problem with breakfast SEN - Lyon and Watson will have their work cut out balancing it out. Can see Lyon taking McLure apart at various stages.
