Great game tonight but I would like a few more games first before I start saying the Hammer has landed at Tigerland. Don't get me wrong I hope he makes it as Big Ivy's successor and I wish him all the best
EDIT: I should add that if Hammer cant make it then the usual club processes should apply, nothing wrong with wanting to see a guy in footy make it though :)

Don't think he comprehensively beat him but I am really impressed how he went.


Really happy about his marking in particular. Seemed to move well and seems lighter in the legs. Is he more mobile?

Anyway really glad he took to the challenge and differently something for list managers to think of.

We certainly do not have to run off chasing rucks atm anyway.

The depth is sufficient atm

If he reproduced that effort consistently he would be very handy at value
 
Always knew what he was capable of. Was dominating in the 2s and played an excellent game. Competes well at the ruck contests and times his leap perfectly. Probably gonna cause a bit of a headache at the selection table though, with Maric, Vickery, and Griffiths and McLean.

His hands in marking contests were brilliant tonight. This is what we were told about.... I've never seen it before.... played really well.

Ivan will come back, but Ivan hasn't that sort of game all year, so imo it wasn't on par.
 
Got to reward that game and keep him for next week. Far exceeded anyone's expectations.

Was the best rucking performance we have had all year.

Once our mids adjust to his taps we will further increase the amount of first possession we will get.

As much as I love Maric, give him another week off or make him force himself back into the side if we can't fit both in.

For someone that has that level of skill, the question is certainly glaring right now - why not that effort every round?

What an amazing selection headache to have... Maric can have a chop out. Imagine that you pushed Ivvy down the rung, maybe so much so that he gets another sit down next week. And before everyone laughs at me here Hammer, I say again, thank you... Thank you for allowing at least the question to asked, as a club on the run into finals...again - can our ageing mulleted beast have an extra week off in the middle of the season? - making him just that little bit fresher at the pointy end - and the club remain competitive in the middle....

Now Shaun my man I am but one voice and much to my disappointment not part of the selection committee. But thank you for coming in from the cold, after a year in the magoo's and giving what you gave tonight. It makes me glad. Glad on a night where there was little more than an ugly encounter for me to feast my eyes upon. One which this little Tiger thinks was generated by that blue scum from whence you came.

Well done Hammer. I am grateful.
