Shattering to hear about Dan Casey, obviously as an oposition supporter it's great to gain an advantage, but no-one wants to see injuries like that, where the severity could transfer into his life away from football. Hope your recovery goes well Dan, all the best.

Any other injury news for the finals?

I know Lorne were missing Freils and Little on Saturday, I think Friels was on holiday and Little is injured, not sure for how long.

Also don't know if or when they'll get Tully and Lewie Hollmer back, would certainly bolster their line up if they could come in.

interesting to see birre upset IB today in the wet, wouldnt be the first time they've beaten them in the wet, perhaps without casey the bombers arent the same as they were a few weeks ago.

Big Joel Iskra was the difference. Was always a very good player. In some good form at the right time of year, he'll cause headaches for teams in the coming weeks.

Beeac gone, injuries to Walker, Beckett, Siez, Stannard have ruined them. Same with Lorne, too many injuries at the wrong time. Birre and Alvie are best form and best condition. Will be surprised if it's not them fighting out the 09 flag.

Big game obviously this week-Wilkinson's side goes in as underdogs but he has them playing team football and for each other. I think they can do it this week and the credit must go to him and the commmittee for the standard they have set!
