Neither Draper nor Bryan will be fit in the first 10 rounds or so,Xerri is the lock for me.
It diverges then to Gawn/Jackson if I want a premo.
If I want mid price madness it's Draper.
If I want a cheap starter its Bryan

Latest news with Draper is he will be ready for Round 1. Brisbane could be full of shit but it's what they're pedlling.Neither Draper nor Bryan will be fit in the first 10 rounds or so,
Draper tore his Achilles which is usaully a 12 month injury and Bryan did his ACL mid season which are usually 9-10 months
Jackson will have to split duties with Darcy and or Cox now as well
Gawn/Grundy/English are the only other 3 worth a look over 600k

Vigo & BlakistonIf Bryan isn't ready who plays R1 for Essendon? Vigo?
Draper could be a make or break pick.Still early but tossing up going with X TDK White R3 and Draper F3 and Reidy F6...12 14 15 16 byes
Could have gone with Darcy.....5555555Draper could be a make or break pick.
Provides handy cover, SHOULD score well as first ruck. But he's coming off a big injury, and well......he's Sam Draper.
Briggs is a massive no for me. There isn't a single ruck in the competition that is going to be more negatively affected by the new ruck rule than him. Definitely stay away.Is there any argument for Kieren Briggs? Also Sean Darcy is 20 points below his starting price last year when he was considered to be a potential value option
Good question. I assume that the better tap ruckmen and those that are able to leap in the ruck contest will outperform the ones that relied on engaging/wrestling at the center bounce. Gawn, TDK, English etc.So . . . who will be the least affected by the new rules?

Jackson will benefit a lot too. But there's always the Darcy problem with himGood question. I assume that the better tap ruckmen and those that are able to leap in the ruck contest will outperform the ones that relied on engaging/wrestling at the center bounce. Gawn, TDK, English etc.
I want more than 75 career averaging 27yo off a major injury at F6.Players always count as their least High Scoring position… so provided the new rules don’t destroy ruck scoring Drapers a forward not a ruck for me.
I also think if he’s playing rd1 he’s a must pick given he’s tapping to the Brisbane midfield and will be resting forward on the best team in the comp.
Easy taps, minimal sharks and a few layup goals a game should make him a solid F6 at worst
Witts will be the biggest loser. With less ruck contests his HTA will drop. Xerri also, he gets a lot of tackle points around contest. Could be the year to go with less expensive rucks.Briggs is a massive no for me. St Kilda apparently had stats from the SANFL ( I can't be arsed finding the article sorry) that it was only 3 throw in's less per game with this new rule.Witts will be the biggest loser. Thanks. I'm surprised it's that low, but good to know. If that's one less hta, plus one less stoppage they get to because of the quick ball ups, could be a few points a game still.St Kilda apparently had stats from the SANFL ( I can't be arsed finding the article sorry) that it was only 3 throw in's less per game with this new rule.
So Xerri probably not really effected, but rucks who don't jump like Witts and Briggs might be in trouble.
The quick ball up's will definitely have an effect. I wonder if teams have two rucks on the field more? Kinda give them an end of the field each. Or just more a case of other players doing more rucking.Thanks. I'm surprised it's that low, but good to know.
