just wondering if there is a way that i could use my 360 controller on the pc
 
Mate cant help you but you can get a Powerwave USB controller, looks just like a 360 controller. Bought one yesterday from EB and it works great
 
brought one of those and lost it while i was moving houses

Sure can - just download the drivers from the microsoft site - u can buy the reciever to plug into usb or just use a corded controller. A lot of games use the 360 controller as a default - ie crysis.
 
I think you can either buy a wireless USB receiver for around $50, or buy the controller rechargeable battery pack which charges via USB, and works on the PC too (I think). Not sure how much that is.

I just picked up the wireless recharge kit for $34.95 at Kmart.

Target have them for that price too.

Should be fine for using on the pc with a driver update.

I have a dongle, and use the 360 wireless mic with it, as well as the controller. Works a treat (and thats on vista x64).
