Hi ppl, just hoping to get some advice on bikes around the $6500 mark.
Just sold a VTR250 and looking at sizing up. Have test ridden a couple of CBR600F's.
Not looking at CBR600RR or anything else with handle bars lower than the tank, just a good solid tourer.
Any advice on similar models would be gratefully appreciated. Cheers :)

CBR600F (95 -97 models) are your best bet if you want a good sports bike for that price.

They arn't considered to be a supersport (handlebars lower than tanks) but they have a snotload of go in them.
The CBR is the best al round bike you can find (comfort vs power), but ultimately it depends on your body shape.

If you are tall and lanky a cbr is good, if you are shortish, look at the Kawazaki ZXR range, if you are very short look at the suzukis.

Test ride as many as you can.

Cheers + thanks. Will take it on board "the hieght factor". Lookin at VFR 750's this weekend. Had a spin on a '96 CBRF, and noted a small knock, pity.
