Yeah, I hate to say it but I think he's had enough chances. Time to give someone else (Davies) a chance.

Bit harsh. He's a C grader, maybe even D grader. No worse than Jamison though, reckon this guy couldn't beat an U16 player in a one-on-one, or Jordan Russell who is back to 2008 form and Bower who can't get near a big dud like Cloke. Terrible backline.

Yes a pathetic showing today by a lot of players, but as bad as the players are you just cannot go pass how bad Ratten is as a coach.

The whole game plan today is not to worry about getting the ball but to try and make sure the player you are on doesnt.

Either this is Rattens gameplan today which shows him up as a dud or he is a dud for not dragging the players that are doing this for not adhering to his gameplan.

Been a couple of occasions where he has just grabbed the ball, and taken them on.

One of the few players I can think of that has done this - not sure he did much with it, but that is hardly the point in a game like today.

Agree. Collingwood have been fantastic at winning contested ball from stoppages. But 11 goals against in a half against the wooden spooners may fool a few, reality is Carlton have the one of the the worst, if not the worst forward line and backline in the league.

He is just having the second year blues I suppose, he adds toughness but I agree he probralby needs a run in the reserves.

Yep a run in reserves until he learn how to make constantly good decisions in the seconds. Unfortunately just does not have the football nous required for a succesful AFL side. I could name a few more but this is the AJ thread.I would say he was in our bottom 6 category but thats debatable as our bottom six runs deep. He has plateud from last year and maybe even worse.

Their really isn't much youngsters to try guys like Tiller and O'keefe are just not ready.They both struggling at times with injuries and form playing Bullants Reserves and sometimes league.The other guys are rookies like Tuohy, Casboult,Dare and can only play if they been upgraded from injury list.

I think only Davies and Kerr is the 2 only players to be tried if they playing Bullants league.

The players who will come back will be the guys we all say are getting delisted or been dropped like Wiggins, Anderson, Browne, Hadley, Thornton, Ohailipin,Jacobs and Robinson. Their isn't many more to try out unlike Davies and Kerr only Austin who has been left out this year so far.

ATM Joseph's got his foot to the floor but is stuck in mud spinning his wheels. Is still young so might come good, but needs to freshen up in the red and white for a couple of weeks.

And Ellard's kicking is about a bazillion times betters than Josephs, but I don't think they play the same position. Small, negating back v in and under mid - you comparing them just cos they're both short?

Ellard will still play a negating role for the majority of game time. Let loose in the 4th where there didn't seem to a man on him and was good.

Let Ellard have Joesph's role and if your looking for an inside mid, bring in Hadley.

Man this guy just has poor decision making abilities but the bigger question is why haven't we got any key positions players in the 2's like every other team does?
