Acer Notebook problem

Just purchased an Acer Aspire 5720z and when typing it goes crazy.
After every 6 or 7 words the cursor goes back anywhere between 10 and 20 words and i will end up with something like this.

Anyone know what the problem is

This may sound like a dumb answer, but make sure your hand isn't resting near the mousepad.

Always happened to me when I had my laptop.

No such thing as a dumb answer Interesting how i put the mouse away and the problem has disappeared. I put the mouse back near me, but careful not to touch it and the problem is back. The mouse is cordless. Strange

Oh, I assumed you'd be using a trackpad.

I'm too scared to open my Acer just in case the conspirators got me as well.

But honestly, that problem sounds familiar. I had the whole keyboard replaced a while back because some keys weren't working. (May have been a result of me spilling liquid on it however.)

Im starting to regret getting mine as it seems to many are having problems. Mine also keeps asking to for broadband re-connection every dozen or so times a new page is loaded, and every second day i have to go to the 10.0.0.138 addy to re set the whole thing
