Umm.......... that is why they play soccer & probably earn 3-10 times more a season

they earn more money simply because of the number of spectators...

soccer is a world sport with mega millions of viewers..( dont know why because its as boring as hell and not physical at all , skillfull yes , but physical no if australia had a population of 100 million people of course there would be more money for the players as it would be if it was a world sport....

1- Yes Soccer is the worlds most popular game.
2- Skillful it is , but the game doesnt let it become physical. Back in the day beleive it or not Rugby & soccer were the same game but the game then took diffrent courses and evolved into the 2 codes they are today.
3- Soccer Australia is an incompetant organisation and only until we see FIFA themselves form the Soccer Heirachy in this country is when we will see it go forward.

in over 100yrs of aussie rules there has hardly been any problems with the crowd...

you cannot say the same about the nutcases going to soccer games...they can't handle the hacking....

australia can do without that crap...

You dont know what your talking about. Australia needs soccer , Soccer needs Australia. A World Cup in Australia would be bigger than the Olympics. The World Soccer Cup is the worlds biggest sporting event like it or not.

if i had the skill to play soccer, id do it. $200,000 a week is fine by me. trust me the crowds in madrid etc go off, unreal sight and so biased. like vic park all over again. although i only watch soccer if its say real madrid vs barcelona or the world cup, the top teams put on an entertaining game. but football and the NBA **** all over it.
