Coud the melb selectors give Adam Maric a go.I feel he is a great potential footballer and may as well be in the ones as breakink his heart in the magoos

Plus he isn't ready. I'd like to see him get a run, don't get me wrong, but he doesn't seem ready. Yet.

I hope he gets a go soon, Iv'e watched him a few times for sandy and he looks like he will be a very good player.

And i reckon he will turn out to be a midfielder that is also very dangerous up forward(sort of like Brent Harvey), he is super quick and he uses the ball very well and can kick it 50+ metres.

I think we will get a game within the next 5 weeks(hopefully).

why is he not playing this is a joke. with half the melbourne team injured just play him it cant hurt. he has even been playing school footy recently what is the point of that it cant be preparing him for afl. plus if he keeps playing for pegs i'll have to play against him in a couple of weeks!!

I dont think he'll play this year... he is young and Bails will want him to concertrate on his education. Get ready for some Maric Magic in 2009...

FFS he is 18 this year and hasn't set the world on fire at Sandy (I know he has one bag of 5, but he hasn't shown good enough form to play him IMO).

He may get a taste this season but I'd be surprised if he plays more than 2-3 games. He won't need to come in this week anyway as Flash should be back.

I agree, with him still being at school I think he and the club would both be happy with the way he is travelling at Sandy and wouldn't want to pressure him into the senior line up early. Also remember how long we had to wait for Juice and Petterd last year, and how good they both were when they finally got their call ups. At this stage of the year the focus must still be on being competitive not on getting games into every player. Lastly is he really going better than Wonna, Yze and Sylvia (and Davey when he is back), I don't think so.
