Seeing as no one's mentioned it yet, the Thunderbirds defeated the Melbourne Vixens 39-38 in Melbourne on the weekend to go 2-1 for the season to date.

The kiss Sharelle McMahon planted on Mo'onia Gerrard's cheek at the start of the game has drawn some media attention too.

Obviously the NNL don't have an "away" strip rule. Both sides looked ridiculously similar on TV at least. Looks like they're getting a decent crowd to netball now too.

T-Birds are through to the Peliminary Final, beating the Melbourne Vixens 53-48 in the First Semi-Final at ETSA Park.

T-Birds will play Waikato Magic in Hamilton in the PF.
