After reading this article, it was obvious whoever did it took about 2 minutes to complete it. It is riddled with player name spelling mistakes and a general lack of knowledge about the players in the club. Schulz was spelt wrong several times.

Greg Lange seems to think that Schulz will play CHB and Polak at CHF, which from all reports from the club seems inaccurate. I was dumbfounded why he rates the Tiger's backline so much?
"..likely to be one of the competition’s strongest."
This statement is just plain wrong and has no real substance to back it up in terms of what our backline has achieved over the last few years. Last year the Tigers conceded the most points, behind only Carlton and Essendon.

I also think the best 22 is incorrect. eg. Deledio on the bench, Pattison forward pocket etc.

Raines on half-forward line...Pettifer on the wing...Polo in the pocket...Hall, Hartigan in the best 22...HAHAHAHA sack the bugger.

Edit: Foley a "ferocious onballer"...I LOVE the sound of that...

Wouldn't think of McGuane as "ruckman/key forward" either. Seems a bit short to be a ruckman. If anything, I think they will look at him as a backman, though could swing between forward and back.

our backline has the cattle

but would you seriously expect any discipline and structure with david king coaching them? most unnacountable player ive ever seen

rubbish article the herald sun was better

Well if Jay Schulz and Polak both turn into very good players we will be a force! They could both switch from CHB to CHF causing havoc and headaches and would be a combination to last another 10 years (Jay is 21, Polly 22)

what a load of crap! im still shocked at this guys lack of knowledge. honestly how cld u put rainsey on a HFF?? at least all the others mistakes are players that mite spend a lil bit of time there (i.e Polak CHF) but that one and lidsy on the bench are just awful. he also said that our backline will be one of the strongest in the competition this year!!! nice compliment but highly doubtful.

i dont know if i rather sheahan's negative (always) richmond bagging report or this positive load of ****.

I agree with him, about our backline bit that is. Our backline when fit is pretty good.

But its not our backline that is the issue but our onballers and more so our foward line.

If our forwards can not be fed the ball correctly by our midfield or if the ball spills in the forward line and they dont apply the necessary pressure, then in this modern game of ours (ping pong)the ball will be rebounded so fast that the back line will be put under immense pressure.
Hence why we had 7-0 centre clearances for, equal amount of inside 50's as Geelong, yet were 5-6 goals down in no time. Our delivery to our foward line was pathetic, our forwards and mid fielders put no pressure on the rebound play and Geelongs delivery to their forwards was impeccable.

Someone have a look at the oppositions inside 50's against us for 2006, I wouldnt be surprised if it was the highest of any club.

The views in this story are those of the author and not necessarily those of the clubs or the AFL

That line at the bottom of the article sums it up perfectly.

Im not even a richmond supporter, yet even i knew half of the stuff the guy said was bull. Just came on here to make sure i wasnt the only one reading that stuff.
