Not sure why you're frothing at the mouth over this. It's a clear free kick. Look at the vision - read the rules.

He held his ground in a marking contest, which is allowed. What is not allowed from the wording of that rule is blocking a player when you are NOT in the marking contest.

The fact you are looking to die on this hill is nothing short of embarrassing.

I’ve found the reverse angle where you can clearly see that the ball was within 5m:
