After reading the article about the AFL wanting to host an Esports event and having the AFL field teams I thought this can only be a good thing. After dedicating thousands of hours myself to competitive online gaming I've realised the amount of saltiness can lead to increased aggression and ticker in players.

Could our AFL team feed off the salt of our Esports team and finally show some heart and 'nastiness'?

Esports is a ridiculous term. It's like darts - a game of skill yes but no ****ing way is it a sport.
