"Based off the Brazilian flag and West Coast's yellow strip, instead of the blue representing the wings on it's normal jumper - this version represents the Pacific Ocean - which separates our two countries, being on opposite sides of the Southern Hemisphere. This is also shown by the two interpretations of the Southern Cross on our flags on opposite of the globe on the jumper.
I have also changed the eagle on the jumper - usually a Wedge-tailed Eagle native to Australia to the Harpy Eagle - known as the Royal Eagle in Brazil - displayed with a striking crown. It's also facing towards the West this time as if it's looking towards home from Brazil.
I've also added some Green - as well as changing the actual Blue and Yellow - to represent Brazil while also not trying to take away from West Coast's heritage and identity."
