AFL Rebooted: Brisbane
A new hypothetical league is forming, starting completely from scratch.

The third team in this new national league is based in Bris Vegas.

The first step in forming the identity of this team is to select a name and/or mascot. See below for the various options. Alternatively, nominate your own idea, but remember to give a reason.

Following the voting process, people will be able to design a kit for the chosen name.


Brolgas
The Brolga is both the state bird and one of the supporters of the Queensland coat of arms. (Suggested by SC_GC)

Bulls
A bull is featured on the shield of the Queensland coat of arms.

Gryphons
The two supporters of the Brisbane coat of arms are gryphons.

Leopards
A leopard is featured in the crest of the Brisbane coat of arms.

Knights
The Maltese Cross is featured on both the Queensland flag and coat of arms. The Cross was originally the symbol for the Knights of Malta.

Koalas
Queensland state animal

Rams
A ram is featured on the shield of the Queensland coat of arms.

Red Deer
The red deer is one of the supporters of the Queensland coat of arms.

Stars
Sir Thomas Brisbane, after whom Brisbane was named, was an astronomer.
