Autobiographies.

Hey guys, thinking of a gift for an essendon supporting friend of mine for christmas. just interested to know if there have been any recent books that have been released by any bombers players or coaches.

Cant think of any, i have a signed copy of Sheedy's autobiography but that was printed years ago so i doubt you would be able to find a copy of it. I know Paul Salmon has one also but again that would be a few years old.

Hird's one. Then the Champions of Essendon. He'll probably have Flying Higher. That may still be in the shops. Last edition was in 96.

Sheeds has just released a new one on the coaches to have coached 500 games.

Rob Shaw's book is a good read.

Champions of Essendon is a wonderful book, pricey but worth it.

I've heard nothing but rave reviews over Robert Shaw's new book, and James Hird's 'Challenging Times' is a good read naturally (you really need to be a Bomber fan to appreciate it this one though).
