Where do people get those fancy avatars or how do you all make them? I mean i know how to get a plain and simple pic for my avatar as i already have one, but i noticed some people have some great ones that involve an animating smiley face (eg Jars458), or one that switches from one pic to another (eg M29). Is there like a site for fancy avatars or what? Gotta feeling this topic might have been posted before but i musta missed it.

Just do a search on animation and you will find plenty that you can use.

Lots of people just make their own or ask someone else to do it for them it's not really hard, I've made some for other people and all the ones I've used I made myself.
All you need is a grahpics program photoshop photoimpact or paint shop pro are the best depending on how confident with a computer you are they rage from advanced to beginner.

I've made avatars for myself, seindude, x_box_x and The Hitman in the past.

They are relatively easy to make actually.. you just need a gif animator program like Ulead and then you just paste the pictures in.

you can go to www.jasc.com and download a free 30-day trial of Animation Shop 3.04 and make your own. Its quite easy.

If you were refering to his avatar I'd suggest you take a look at your own, answer the question did I make it? then answer the question is it cool?

If you can say yes to both or them and find at least 5 people who agree with you then you have a right otherwise your a fool
