just wondering is there a place where everyone meets in Sydney when there is an away game on? I hear the Alexandria hotel is owned by a former Swan and thats not far from the SCG I think. Any help would be great.

except for my brother, my whole house is a red and white shrine... and all of my mates are avid fans of the swans but we wouldn't mind seeing a game with more of the red and white faithful

Can i just say I live in Sydney and have no clue even after all these years! I usually just get 4 or 5 friends over for homemade pizza at my place. But pub option - esp for night games - would be great.

I haven't been to Darren McAsey's pub in Alexandria - can't think of the name of it right now - but it can get pretty crowded from what I've heard, so getting there early may be the go. The official Swans venue is the Aussie Rules supporters club in the Cross. Haven't been there for a game and haven't been there for years. I'm not fond of the Cross. I usually go to my local for at least half the game ie the last half if it's a day game. Fox Studios used to be the official venue but don't know if it attracts a crowd these days. Haven't been there either. Don't know if that helps.
