Well played tonight. The final margin probably didnt reflex on how well you guys played tonight.

Even though you gave us a right royal spanking tonight, it was almost a pleasure to watch the way you guys play. Watching on TV doesnt show the work your players do off the ball. I cant recall leaving a game thinking, we only lost by 11 goals.. It could have been alot more :(

And to really rub it in, my wife couldnt go to the footy tonight, so I took a Cats supporter with me... talk about one painful drive home :)

Good luck next week!

Cheers mate:thumbsu: You blokes played good in patches, and a few times I thought you were about to get a run-on - just couldn't find a solid target up forward.

I thought the same thing. There were passages of play where you showed potential to string a couple of quick ones together, and against a lesser side that can sow the seeds of doubt.

The Cats just aren't that lesser side;)

Always worried about the "run-on" when we play interstate (maybe too many bad memories of THAT game at AAMI with THAT mark that wasnt paid and the Crows got up by 8). Thought we did well to maintain the pressure when they lifted esp. in the 3rd, although they missed a few easier shots which could have made it interesting.

I usually take an instant disliking to great teams who dominate for years. Take Brisbane in 2001-2003. I hated them, probably becasue they were so good, and so ruthless.

BUT, I love the Cats. They play such an exciting style of footy, I can't help but watch and be amazed and impressed.

Boy they have absolutely spanked some teams this year (including mine :) ). But for pure entertainment value, it's worth watching every minute. :thumbsu:

My thoughts exactly. If I had to watch one more year of the Swans style stop, chip sideways, slow, stop start, boring, frustrating, ugly footy, I think I would have turned into an axe murderer.

The quick and slick stuff to the forwards before the opposition can flood is pretty footy to watch.

I know exactly what you mean. I think the thing I like the most about my team at the moment (apart from our winning! :p ) is the fact that they don't behave like ****heads on or off the field. Did you see the exchange between Roo and Ling after the game during the interview. It appeared to me like they respected and regarded each other very highly. The other week I heard Mooney on The Footy Show that he wanted the game against WC to end and that he felt for them. He wasn't crowing about it. I think there's an incredible level of maturity at the club, a real respect for themselves, each other and their opponents. :thumbsu:

The Moondog's always like that. Just an honest, friendly bloke with a dose of the ol' white line fever. You always see him after the game though, giving a rub of the hair and having a natter to the opposition players. You can tell there's alot of mutual respect there.

But did anyone see the animated chat going on between Stevie J and little Gaz while they were on the pine? I think it was Dennis Cometti who said he'd love to be a fly on the wall for it.

That was shown on TV but it was hard to tell what it was about. It wasn't the only time I saw Gary looking a little bit frustrated last night.
