Just found out about a little ruse that HOTMAIL has been running...
Apparently, In a recent upgrade of services, They added a new options screen to your user profile, Which as a NEW default has given HOTMAIL the right to share your e-mail address with whomever they please...Needless to say they informed no-one officially of this strategy...
The way to fix this anomaly is to enter your options screen, click on personal profile and uncheck or opt out the fields where you see share my e-mail address...
If you've noticed an increase to spam, Here's the quick remedy...But, this raises the question, Up to this point who has HOTMAIL onsold or shared your e-mail address before you have fixed it??? And then who have they shared it with...ra ra ra...
