coached flags at not 1 but 2 GFL clubs (best league in VIC) as well as CDFL

Time at port was poor, but has shown he can get the best out of a club at GFL level - 12 years apart, so shows he is able to change and adapt, because 2002 football was very different to 2014 football

also, with the recruits and resignings at OG, they absolutely cannot go any worse than 2016

-arguably the best 2 mids in the BFL
- a premier key forward from GFL footy (aging yes, but quality will stand out)
-multiple players returning from GFL clubs

The thing that is going to squash OG is their off-field spending and disregard for the rules, not Paul Lynch!!

Ahh, did mean onfield, but outside the salary cap!

Paying Lynch wont be their problem, the money going to Linton, Carmody and Brent outside the cap will mess them up

Committee has approved $200k to be spent in 2017

I'm confused.
Isn't there a players salary cap within AFL Barwon? And isn't it around $115000 for the BFL?

If so, what do you mean by money going to Linton etc. outside the cap?

Also what do you mean by the committee has approved $200000? Does that mean there's no limit to what coaches and support staff can get paid. I don't get it.

Why is AFL Barwon letting this happen?

It's not hard. Ocean grove would be paying guys on the books upto what the cap can allow them, then players like McLeod & Carmody & Linton would be getting cash in hand, so for instance Linton might be on 20,000....he might get 12,000 into his bank account on the books and the other 8,000 cash so afl barwon don't know.

In other words they are cheating
