Meine Fuehrer,.....er sorry 'skipper' I was not actually vc but I was a leading light in the pro Darky faction as we tried to deal with the mutiny from the ACT element (& I have my suspicions backed by the banana benders).The way you dealt with the main culprit & star batsmen by dropping him for the rest of the tournamet despite having the weakest batting line up in the comp was truly awe inspiring & reminisant of another great German leader....... (Lothar Mattheaus-LOL!)
I will happily back your reinstatement as captain for the longer version of the game,I may even start canvassing other team members by personal message & hopefully my place in the team will be .....er......assured for the whole series.

I do apologise to Nick The Pie Man, our esteemed vice-captain, who led from the front all season. Obviously depsite not having an official leadership capacity, Dipper showed strong leadership qualities and it was an easy mistake-a to make-a.
If I get the cut of your jib, methinks you know exactly why you-know-who was dropped at the end. The clue is in the Queensland connection.

Now I feel guilty about posting that Brisbane is the team I love to see lose the most! I did, however, go to most of Fitzroy's home matches at the Whitten Oval and barracked for the Lions except when they played us. I also went to their last match as Fitzroy at the MCG and shed a tear as they left Melbourne forever. (Pssst...... I also taught Jarrod Molloy , but don't know if I should mention that, considering where he is now!)
Where you moving to? Coming to the states? If so, it's BYO gun here!

Haven't logged onto the site in weeks - been really busy - new job - no casual net surfing opportunities. And bugger me what a nice surprise to get the gong on this - don't know how you could have gone past Chi-town dude and Dipper but, for this little black duck let me say thank you - I feel totally cheered up.

News here - we've got our flat on the market and am thinking of buyign around the corner from Highbury (Gunner central for the uninitiated) - weather is fantastic - AND I've got tickets for the 4th test at Headingley! Whoo hoo - should be 3-0 by then - what say you Dipper???? Actually, to be fair, when you're missing Hussain, Thorpe and White and are forced to play hacks like Eahlam and Collingwood you tend to get unrepresentative results... going to be MUCH closer than most ppl think. Tresco, Thorpe, Athers, Hussain, Vaughan and hell even Shah look like a 350 plus top order...
Anyway, been missing you guys - especially Arch, Shinner, the Eagles fans and me ol'd bomber amigos... (eg: Walshy, Mantis, Wal and so on).
