The Dandenong Redlegs put on a terrific night and fundraiser to thank Bev White for all that she has done for their club and local community sport.
She has been one of the all time great volunteers at Dandenong West Football Club (now Dandenong Redlegs) and Lyndale Cricket Cub, and has also had direct involvement at the Dandenong Cricket Association along with her 10 year administrative work at the SFL.
The respect that she is afforded was evident by the attendance, including supporters and officials from some of the other SFL clubs. Also great to see the Canterbury F.C. people who shut their bar early just so that they could be there. Well done Cobras.
Bev is one special person who has assisted many in the past and now needs all the luck in the world to battle for her future.
