Wasn't a great Rd 3 for most people, but I never thought a paltry 399 would move me up 20 spots to 166.

Bringing in 3 heat players, will be running with 6 this round. In Christian, Peirson, Lynn, Reardon, Cutting I'll have nearly their entire top order, so hopefully they post some big totals! Good luck.

Scored a disgusting 341.

Kaliis--->Henriques
Boyce--->Starc

I have 5 Sixers on the field

Rd 4 will be a lot more fun. Why are you bringing in Sixers? They have the bye, plus if be inclined to keep the faith in Kallis

Not sure what was wrong with that fixture. I'll reverse my trades and start again

Reasonably happy with 484 from Rd3. Moved up from 452 to 183 overall. Trading in Ludeman at the last minute for a $ grab paid dividends points wise.

Rd4 trades
Lumb > Lynn
Wright > Cutting
Bollinger > Duffield

Carberry gets a reprieve only because I had both Lumb & Maddison in my batting lineup + Scorchers play twice in Rd5 & I want to hang onto all 7 of my Scorchers until after then.

Pretty happy with my Rd4 starting 11 apart from Carberry. Not expecting a huge Rd4 score with only 3 Heat players, but will hopefully kill it in Rd5 before I start mass trading 5-6 Scorchers before their Rd 7 bye.

I know Heat play twice, but I'd still start Ludeman over Peirson on current form.

If Peirson is picked to open, then he will start for me. Ludeman can't keep up this form for the whole season.

I see you have posted your team after doing your trades..do you plan on reversing those trades and doing them tomorrow? Best idea is to put your scorchers on the bench, watch their scores tonight and then decide whether you need trade out the 6ers players. If the scorchers go large, keep the 6ers and trade elsewhere if required.

Geez I feel for you people that only scored around 400. You clearly have no idea. I managed 190. It is lowest score wins isn't it??:eek::eek::eek::eek:

And I would like to point out that I had a full team too.

I'll never bag NSWCROW again. Okay maybe just a little.....

Hmm good point.

Although I did change my trades after I posted the screenshot (I kept Wright & traded Carbs instead)

Carberry>Reardon
(Carbs will most likely leak more $ this week & Reardon will surely make $ going by current ave & price)
Lumb>Lynn (this trade will get done tomorrow, no matter what happens tonight)
Bollinger>Duffield (is a no brainer, purely for the $)

Anyway, this is my team pre-trades. Following your advice, I'm not sure which bowler to leave on the bench from tonights game. Cummins or Arafat?

Toss a coin on the one. This game involves a lot of coin tosses.

Sure does. Doesn't make it any easier since Cummins is a former Scorcher himself so should bowl well on that deck..

If Arafat played like he did last year, then Arafat. Too close to call, Arafat maybe, but only just.

Pick Cummins Gingy. Arafat has been off his game so far this season

An ordinary 376 saw me drop from 30th to 59th overall. Not accepting VC Behrendorff's 40 and making Dunk (-20) captain instead cost 60 points that would have made it a decent score in a hard round.

This is the toughest round to decide on trades yet.

It's tempting to trade Dunk to Ludeman given their likely value changes in the next two games, but Ludeman has a bye coming up and Dunk a double header so that wouldn't really work too well. I have no faith in Peirson and the other WKs aren't all that great either. Might have to keep Dunk for the rest of the season which would make his value changes largely irrelevant.

The Heat's double header means more of their players should come in but I already have their only two decent batsmen, Lynn and Reardon. Duffield is a no brainer to trade in, but there are no other Heat bowlers I like so that only leaves the all rounders for the other trades. They have plenty of those, but most are carrying low scores into their 3rd game and seem pretty unreliable.

I think I've convinced myself not to trade in Ludeman or any other Thunder players and I have enough Scorchers already so I can wait until I see the teams for tomorrow's game before making trades.

Ok. I have made three trades this week

OUT: Maddinson, Boyce, Cowan
IN: Lynn, Duffield, Reardon

My batting lineup currently is Finch, Klinger, Lynn, Harris (Reardon) but I want Reardon on the field. The obvious choice is Harris but he is playing well. Who should I bench?

I also need to bench one of Wright, Kallis and Turner. I will probably bench Turner but would like to hear your opinions on it

I think I'll make Lynn captain. Surely he'll go big at least once.

Excellent trades and I agree with Lynn as captain, although you should loophole him if you can.
I'd go with Harris and Turner on the bench too.

I would loophole but I'd prefer not to fiddle around to much. When I did it last time I somehow got Maddinson's 2 as captain

It's something you really should do if your lineup allows it. If Lynn goes out for a duck you don't want him locked in as captain. Can you post your team?

BATSMAN: Finch, Klinger, Lynn, Reardon (Harris)
ALLROUNDERS: Kallis, Wright (Turner)
WICKET KEEPERS: Pierson (Whiteman)
BOWLERS: Behrendorff, Laughlin, Zampa, Duffield (Lee)

I can go VC on Lynn, C on Lee. If Lynn goes big leave it, if he doesn't make Wright or Finch captain.

I'm also unsure on whether to go Whiteman or Pierson either
