Anyone in Darwin or connected with the Buffs know how many games Dempsey played in the NTFL. Only information I can find is he played 343 games for West Perth, although he played 2 seasons for the Buffs before leaving, and a few articles have said he often returned in the WAFL off season to play in the NTFL.

my understanding is that he left in the early 60s then came back in around 1968 for 1 season

as Bill Dempsey's career was in the pre cyclone Tracey period no official records survive
likewise DBFC records are sketchy.
