70 odd years ago bill woodful said "“There are two teams out there, one is playing cricket.
The other is making no attempt to do so.”

I think this applies to the english cricket team this series

According to Woodfulls definition of cricket, i dont think anyone plays any cricket anymore!

If a man epitomised anything that was great about the game it was Bill Woodfull, a fantastic sportsman!

I think that you are being cruel Dan ! The current English team nay not be playing WELL but they are still playing within the spirit of the game. In the "bodyline" series Woodfull (and many others, then and since) were of the opinion that the English team was NOT palying within the spirit of the game !

I was merely changing the context. not inferring the english weren't playing in within the spirit of teh game, actually now you mention it, im not sure the english are playing cricket at all...
