One of the great sights of modern football was [PLAYERCARD]Nathan Fyfe[/PLAYERCARD] cruising around with his dark purple socks rolled down, like yesterday's Explorers turned inside out, and his no-frills black boots, just getting the job done. In a world of dayglo lairboots and flashy footwear, it was more than refreshing. It was brutal. No nonsense. And beautiful.
