How is Luke Blackwell progressing in the VFL?.

Is he still thought to be too small for the AFL?.

I watched him closely for the first time a fortnight ago in the VFL when the Bullants played the Scorpions at Cramer Street and I must say i left the game very buoyed and excited about not only his performance but also the performances of Jordan Russell and Jesse D Smith. Blackwell picked up alot of possessions in the midfield especially in the second half and he uses the ball very well. Personally i didn't think he looked too small but he definitely needs to add a bit of weight to his frame. I have no doubt he has the footy smarts and will be an exceptional player for us in the future.
