Well well look at all the people who were defending him only about 1 month ago do backflips. Once a hack and always a hack. All he has is overhead marking and an ability to run at a moderate pace in a straight line with his head down over the ball. Shithouse player, Adelaide have been r*ped with this trade. Who is backflipping? Still think Richie could be a useful player given a decent run without injury, my problem has to do with his lack of class since moving on.

and liked him more as a result.

When Cornes tried to get him to bag supporters he just laughed as if it was a silly comment. Was keen to not take on Cornes but didnt say a word.

If he struggled with different positions and believes he is a better player if given a similar role then not sure what the prob is. Have I missed another article.

Read the quote Barnzy posted, that gives you a good idea, as he pretty much says that us fans were on his back from day 1 almost. I can't recall any real criticism until the first Dogs game last year where he got the bronx cheers.

The other things that gets up my goat is he said that our development was pretty poor, that he never got to settle in 1 position and he took a swipe at the coaching panel, fair enough having a shot at the TW years when those things were valid, but I would have thought having a new coaching panel this year should have been a different scenario.

One thing I would love to find out from Richie, if he was so unhappy with the club why did he sign up for 2-3 years during his last contract renewal? Why not ask for a trade at the end of his last contract?

I was one of his defenders and still believe he can become a decent player for Adelaide.

But regarding all this I honestly couldn't give a toss...he's not a Tiger anymore, the administration/coaching that did/didn't develop him aren't around anymore... if he gets upset about comparisions with Franklin and a few jeers, well thats not a problem for us it's for the Crows.

Will the Crows supporters admire and cheer ordinary, half arsed performances week in, week out?

Time will tell.
But he may find that he has to actually work for his money, rather than blaming the coaching staff, the fans, personal isues etc. etc. for his ordinary efforts.

Perhaps (and I know he will find this extremely unreasonable and unfair) he will actually have to take a good hard look at himself, just for something completely different

He was given a Bronx cheer for picking up his first kick in the 3rd quarter in one game, but never ever booed.

Thanks for confirming what I was thinking. I would have thought Sydney, Brisy or Gold Coast would have suited him more. If he has some bad ones there will be no escape for him in Adelaide.

he is going to get better next year + be recovered from injury + be surrounded by a potential top 8 side

I have been to a few footy games over the years and wouldn't have described crow supporters as feral, (Crazy and one eyed yes)
I went to Arden St back in about 1977 when Nth were playing the pies now "THAT" was feral. Scared the crap out of me!
That other team that play at footy park make Collingwood supporters look classy!

Bling screws up in the fishbowl that is Adelaide and it will be front page on the Tiser.

Cornsey seemed welcoming in thier interview. Does he get into players.

Id imagine you would have a few straight shooter ex Crows in the media but they seem to be protective of the Adelaide players and only Bone McDermott seems prepared to knock your players. Riccutto looks as if he would have strong opinions but wouldnt voice them if it was a Crows player struggling or getting a game when he shouldnt.
