Bound by Flame will be the first RPG for PS4, and as an RPG fanatic I was wondering how many of you guys will be getting this, or contemplating getting it? It's coming out on May 9th and I for one am excited in having this to keep me occupied during my uni break in June.

I've added some screenshots, hopefully the images of the screenshots don't lose their quality because they really do look fantastic.

Will probably wait and see how everyone else likes it before making a decision. Screenshots look good though.

So has any-one bothered with this?

I've been playing it lately and it's pretty good. A lot of mixed reviews, but if you like harder than normal RPGs then you might like it. I say it's a cross between the Witcher and Dark Souls; and similar to Dark Souls if you don't allocate your level up points properly you're gonna stuff yourself up, and that's wherer I think a lot of reviewers have funked it up score-wise. Invest in Ranger, or Warrior, but not both, and definitely invest in Pyromancy.

Probably an 8/10 so far, but I'm nowhere near finished.

I was pretty pumped for this and pre ordered but felt a little let down. Combat is great though and awfully challenging at times which is refreshing but things like the lack of polish, voice acting, lip syncing and the dialog which ranges from bipolar to tourettes killed the immersion for me. I reckon Spiders have a big future and I was super keen for BBF after Mars: War Logs but IMO they missed a massive opportunity here releasing something in a period a little light on games. I'm hoping they keep improving and become the next 4A Games or CD Projekt Red.

I think they will become something special. I was also pretty shocked to find out they are a very small team of developers, approx 20 or so, so I imagine witha bit more firepower and experience they will be making excellent games sooner rather than later.

Agree with you on a lot of those points, combat is fun but challenging (which I like) and the main thing that I couldn't get past was the lip synching as it was never, ever on time, let alone looked like the same words were being spoken. I love the world they've built though, it has definitely satiated my thirst for a PS4 RPG!
