I've never bought into the Daniel Bradshaw romanticism. It reeks of a Des Headland situation - good in a good side.
Admittedly, i didn't see many Brisbane games this year, but he's not in the mould of a Pavlich, Riewoldt, Fevola or Hall. He's also 28 and not going to get any better.
Geelong need to make some tough decisions. They need to stick with Nathan, Hawkins and maybe a Todd Grima (or for the sake of not throwing too many inexperienced players into the team, a Gardiner or Playfair) for the ENTIRE season. In fact, you don't even need Gardiner/Playfair down there if Mooney and Ottens can play permanent forward roles.
We need to show confidence in these blokes so they can develop into players. Getting quick fixes in the same vein as Mitchell White, Spinks, Ottens et al hasn't worked for us in the past and I cannot see it working for us in the future with Bradshaw.

Dunno Seb.. Bradshaw was pretty good this year in an average side IMO. We are entering our premiership 'window' (despite still being one of the youngest sides in the competition (I think 04 & 05 were bonus years for us, this year big disappointment though)).
If we can get him if the price is right I don't think we have too much to lose. He would add a little class and poise to our seriously dysfunctional forward set up, especially when, as I mentioned earlier, Ottens, through necessity, will be used more in the ruck next year.
