What a smashing game this player had against the Bulldogs.

15 kicks 10 handpasses 11 marks 2 tackles

He was rock solid in defence, his kicking was superb. Without his effort we would have lost the match for sure. He held down CHB for most of the day. He played with poise and a calm grace when all around him was frantic. He is having a very good year.

This sort of effort just shuts up his detractors and makes them into his admirers.

Keep up the great work Brendan.

He played HB roaming in defense with NO man at all as he was an extra man.

His skills were great yesterday but lets not get carried away. 70% of AFL players would do similar if they could run around with NO man.

:)

Could it be the end of the one-on-one "accountable" crap Grant thomas was spewing

Except for the unfortunate Kosi, the Saints had 3-4 players around the ball most times and had protection for the runners.

They may have won by a couple goals, but they were in control
and didnt give easy goals

How can you be overrated when he is not rated by anybody?
I thought you cracked the sads and would never watch the Saints play?

lol at 'Ron'

Was it up until last year, you thought Leigh and Sam Fisher were brothers

According to you, Raphael Clarke and Goddard were duds - they both have huge upsides IMO - but no, you wrote them off .....and how old are they, what, both just turned 20 ?

You totally are a drone :thumbsd:

I thought you were supposed not to talk about GT during 3 weeks. Boh... I'm getting tired to see the anti-GT theme in all your posts. It's always the same. I've read it already, mate, move on.

No Chas did not take up my offer and is continuing to post anti-GT rhetoric.
He will be "in trouble" though if he posts off topic to further his cause any more.

Sainter has warned him and now I have warned him.

I'm sorry that you had to rebuke him (as Panthers has as well) for posting his drivel off topic.

He didn't have a set opponent, but whenever there was someone dangerous lurking around the forward line he'd pick them up until we could man up on him properly, and if there was a mis-match (midget vs giant) in defence, Gods would always fly in and take the saving mark.

7 contested possessions (most in the match), 3 contested marks and 6 tackles would indicate that he wasn't just plodding around gathering the loose ball as well.

i am NEVER off-topic, i said i would take it easy ;)

As much as I dislike your club (mainly just GT, Milne, Gehrig), I do think Goddard is going to be an absolute gun. People forget how young he is and expect him to be a star straight away because he was the number 1 pick. But when you look at picks 2 & 3 of that draft (Wells and Brennan), he's going OK.

I see him as being in a similar position to Hodge last year - and only a year separates them in the draft. I'm not saying he's going to be as good as Hodge but, Hodge played most of last year (his first injury free) floating around the half back line like Goddard is this year. Towards the end of the season, Hodge slowly moved into the middle and I can see Goddard's season going along the same path

Nice stats there, they really show he just pushed himself into the war. I just watched the game yesterday and it's the first time I've seen him dominate, specially in the first half.

You're half witted insults wash right off my back.

I hate the Clarke brothers and i hate Goddard and yes i did think the fishers were brothers. So sue me if i don't keep up to date on the untried players, i'm not phased.

Still if Goddard can play up to that standard last week which is finally up to the level i'd expect him to play at then i'll discontinue bagging him.

Now it's up to him.

:)

This must be killing you _ron_. :)

Very strange to use the word "hate". I always thought true supporter would want all of the players on the list to succeed.

We all know you hate Goddard, now you have been proven hopelessly wrong, you can concentrate on the Clarkes who are both injured and so you cant be proven wrong until they get back.

Why do you "hate" the Clarkes _ron_? Not their background and all? I mean coming from the Northern Territory isn't that bad.
