Staker I rate very highly, and have done so since the first preseason game I ever saw him play.

The thing that tends to get overlooked is that like most midrange draft talls, there was no way he was physically ready to play a kpp when he was drafted.

Generally, people in that situation (Hansen, Seaby, even Doogs, and he went much higher!) spend around 2 years on the sideline whilst they bulk up enough to hold their own in one on one contests. Staker went straight into the action because his pace, agility and slick skills meant that he could play on the flanks whilst his body developed.

Next year is probably the first season when he should actually be strong enough to start to play AFL as a bona fide kpp, and I have very high hopes for him.

Incredibly quick and agile for his size, sticky set of hands and a beautiful kick. Could end up a much bigger, stronger version of Tarrant.

Yeah and i just hope he plays for at least another 8-9 years, cause if i ever end up playing AFL, im gonna give 1 to him :D
 
i really like stakes. his size and agility is fantastic. i think all he needs is a little more confidence and he will be a quality player.
 
Staker has shown a bit in 2004 and the eagles need to make a decision on where he plays his best footy, i think wen gardy gets fully fit and mended and when he bulks up in the gym he should be played at CHF
 
Tell you cousin to mark the ball further in front of himself, if that makes sense, not directly above his head.......What i mean is don't let him lead under the ball. Normally that would be a huge error but he usually gets hands on it (fricken amazing athlete) and it gets spoiled easily....If he takes it with his arms foward it will be out of reach of the defender......

Besides that he excellent. Don't get me wrong, he is a champion.

hopefully one day i play afl..this year in footy i got my teams b&f and came 5th in league with 16 votes...and my team only won 1 game hehe. i wouldnt mind playin AFL :D

Agreed, we're building the old eagles. Sampi is Chris Lewis, Waters is Worsfold, Judd is Peter Matera.....and the list goes on.

ddjfl.. dandenong district junior football league...something like that, is that what you mean?
 
I think he just needs to get some consistency. He's had some very good games, such as his rising star nomination and the derby, when he kicked two goals.
