Well done Ratts some fantastic moves today! Some exceptional ones included:
Waite on Rocca
Jamieson on Medhurst
Bower on Cloke
Gibbs on Thomas

I can see today he also opted for the more defensive play then full on attack.
This included chipping around the ball no matter how long it took or how frustrated the crowd got and also told the boys to simply deny Collingwood the football. Rather then wasting a kick by going long into packs or risking it by taking on the opponent, he told the boys to wait as long as it takes for an option which is certainly the right thing to do against such a dangerous opponent like Collingwood who can kill you on the counter attack. Carlton were extremely well coached today and wasn't it great to see Eddie ' double chin' Mcguire having a sook a few minutes before the final siren.

Made some great positional moves today.
Also, the way that he coached the team to slow the tempo of the game down close the end of the quarters was a great idea. We have leaked way too many goals in this part of the game, and slowing it down to our tempo was great.

Loved the coaching today. Completely outcoached Malthouse.

Really just liked the way we played overall. It was different, and although I couldn't pinpoint what has changed in our game plan, it works
