Actually good point, I will have to check up on that one and get back to you, I thought it was Sandovers, but am not saying i'm 100%

I think he was runner up or so in a Sandover, but IIRC has never won one.

Pitty B.Voss was good under GT but not under Ross. Actually in previous years, you could always rely on brett winning and was definately in the top 22.

Perhaps if Lyon played him in the backline where he should be, he might improve.

Meguires season was just as crap as Voss', although he was coming back from a broken leg.

I think Voss' stkilda career is over. i am a big fan but can not see him getting regular time next season.

good for his hardness, but not needed against every opponent.

can only see him playing forward as too slow else where. but a good foil as can mark and kick straight for goal.

I agree with you sauce_head that if Voss is going to stay on, he'll probably play in the forward line. He's also got a bit of "mongrel" about him and takes a terrific pack mark for his size. Rotating him as the crumber/extra forward mark while either Milne or Xav run in the midfield for a spell could be quite nice. His experience will mean he'll stay, to mentor some of the young'uns.

It was only 2 club B&F's however 1 being last season when Soth Fremantle were runners up, and i'm assuming that the other was the year before (can't find it) when south were premiers, which in some cases can be a better deserved win than Leagues. He was also runner up in the Sandover in what year I can't place my finger on right now.

I disagree, i can't see how Voss will be kept under Ross Lyon.

Geez, I'm surprised by the negativity towards Jones overall. I would have thought that any rookie that actually gets a game would be a bonus. I thought this year with Jones & Attard we did ok out of our rookies and while neither will be superstars they perform a role within the team which is required. Voss is past it unfortuntely, just too slow! I like him up forward but with forward line pressure an the ability to chase hard in the forward half so important we can't afford to hide him there either. Sorry Vossy!
